Lorie Nelson, Owner & President
Lorie Nelson’s journey as an executive assistant began in 1979. After working for companies of all sizes, managers to executives, nonprofits and for-profits, she ventured into the work of entrepreneurship in 2012 when she founded Signature Virtual Assistance. Her business is built on her passion: freeing up business owners to do what they do best while she does the rest!
With an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, MS Office program training, as well as QuickBooks training and years of admin experience, Lorie is equipped to take on the administrative duties of any business from any location. She is successfully doing just that for her clients who are located on each coast as well as throughout the continental US.

In addition, the collaborative workspace environment is a major player in the success of many small business owners, and Lorie can contribute her story. Choosing Medici MediaSpace as a St. Louis location for her thriving business, she has greatly benefitted from the expertise and membership of the collaborative workspace.
Access to other thriving small businesses is an enriching and rewarding experience for any business owner, and Lorie considers it extremely valuable in the success of Signature Virtual Assistance. So much so, that in November, 2017, Signature Virtual Assistance, officially opened their St. Louis branch office! Now there are two offices to conveniently serve both sides of the Metro East area!
Lorie is a committed community member of her Metro East home, working with and supporting local nonprofits through volunteer work. When she’s not in the office, she can be found spoiling her grandchildren, in her flower garden, or on the back of a Harley Davidson with her husband. Their newest hobby is annually spreading Christmas cheer as Santa and Mrs. Claus, Santa’s St. Louis extension!
